Here's some ideas for your next read! Please be aware that if Cresco Public Library doesn't have the book you're looking for, it may be available through InterLibrary Loan. However, new books are not usually available through InterLibrary Loan until approximately 6 or more months after publication. • Fantastic Fiction - the best site for series information & soon to be released books
• Book Riot - a website for book lovers with articles, podcasts, videos, & blogs
• The Millions - book reviews, news & lists for literary fiction fans
• Booklist - reviews, lists and advisories. 
• American Writer's Museum - Book lists particularly for book clubs.

Book Awards

• Iowa Association of School Librarians: Book Awards - Awards for children's and teen's books which children and teens can vote on. These include the Goldfinch Award (K-3rd Grade), Iowa Children's Choice Award (3rd - 6th Grade), Iowa Teen Award (6th - 9th Grade) and the Iowa High School Book Award (9th - 12th Grade).
• International Literacy Association - These book lists, which include Children's, Teachers' and Young Adults' readling lists, are guided by readers. Currently, they only have 2020's lists due to COVID-19.
• National Education Association: Summer Reading Lists for Kids - This site has links to other reading programs, STEM activites and more.
• YALSA (Young Adult Library Services Association) from the American Library Association - YALSA puts out lists of Young Adult materials, including the  Best of Fiction, Best of Non-Fiction, Quick Picks for Relunctant Readers, Graphic Novels and more.
• American Library Association: Book, Print & Media Awards - The best of from the ALA.
• Bridge to Reading - Award for picture books.
